The first one a Santander ES-335 model, which I bought almost brand new a few years ago and I have to say it plays better than any Epiphone I've laid my hands on. Really nice sounding and a comfortable neck. The second is a 1969 Conrad, ES-175 model which I found on Ebay. Very nice patina and sounds good as well although the output is slightly lower. |

It adds a bit of charm and swagger to it, and it just looks cool as hell, to me at least. I never liked the whole idea of looking like you just rolled out of bed. Nor do I like the air-brushed Aquanet look. So, I'm guessing that picture was taken prior to the decision to grow the mustache? |
And by God, do not forget to grow out your hair! This world needs more hair. I think all the wars would end if everyone grew out their hair.

Are there famous old flutes? I assume you flute players don't like old flutes since having all the saliva in them from other people might give you saliva cooties! Burning Down, if you like old instruments, then you'd *really* like the violin my parents got me back when I was 18 and they had high violin hopes for me, I think, or they were just extremely generous. They bought me a violin made around 1720 in France. I hardly ever play my old violin because I'm so afraid I'll drop it! :( I need to play it sometime since it is a shame to have an instrument sit idle for years and years. The violin looks pretty battered up...weird scratch marks here and there on it, as if it had battled a leopard and lost. I wish I knew all the people who played and abused that violin over the years! Hopefully it isn't like the Red Violin, trailed by tragedy. Thank you for commenting on my fecal matter colored dress! :p: |

At first I tried looking for actual songs or instruments made using the sounds of cigarettes...the gentle sucks, the smooth exhalations, the hacking coughs of cancer victims. Nothing. Then I thought: well, maybe a cigarette is a kind of wind instrument! :D Finally, I decided to simply share this music video (below) about cigarettes, because it does include a few hacking coughs (sorry RezZ...I'm trying!). Perhaps people who are trying to stop smoking their primary instrument (their cigarette) could try the clarinet instead, because (as a former avid clarinet player) I know that the clarinet is great for people with oral fixations! You gotta lick it, and suck it, chaw on it sometimes to soften a reed, and hold it in your mouth for the longest time, while fiddling around with it with your fingers. A clarinet is even made from plant material, and so is a cigarette! The major difference is that *usually* a clarinet sounds better than a cigarette. Not always, but often. I prefer the sound of a violin to the sound of a cigarette, though. You can hear the violin, my primary instrument, in this song: Cigarette - an annoying, pathethic wind instrument: http://richardwiseman.files.wordpres...rette_butt.jpg Clarinet - sometimes an annoying, pathethic wind instrument: http://www.woodwindsplus.net/shop/im...b_clarinet.jpg |

I actually cover that song whenever I play live. And, cliche as it may be, I have a cigarette in my mouth whilst doing it :D Except we do the Commander Cody version  We also do Hot Rod Lincoln :D |

well I discovered this amazing thing called sunlight and it works wonders
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v2...hoto_00011.jpg I was trying to get a close up of the neck so that you can see that it says First Act http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v2...hoto_00012.jpg |
Holy **** thats weird I CAN SEE!
That one on the left doesnt even have a bridge does it :) |
it did but I just broke it off because I'm going to break it rock star style late at night in the street
The bridge that it had was horrible to begin with...there was a broken piece of pencil to separate it from laying down flat against the guitar itself |
Shot of the Jasmine. Capo clipped to the headstock..
http://s2.postimage.org/5ut5epv9h/jasmine1.jpg I really love this guitar. Works like a charm, and sounds just as good as my friend's Takamine, but the setup is better - it doesn't buzz at all, and even the higher frets sound gorgeous. The First Act is another story. |
Yehaw Tomorrow I be buying this Gibson SG special with a hardshell case for 500 bucks!
http://images.craigslist.org/3na3ka3...2a873012d0.jpg Once I have it I shall take a better picture than this craigslist one. |
