A musical instrument is a device used to make music. Computers can be used to make music, but I think I'll put it in the "fake instruments" group.

Can this thread just get locked already? It seems like it gets brought up once every few weeks, and honestly, is this even an argument or discussion that needs to be made? Aren't we over the whole "COMPUTERS ARENT INSTRUMENTS (BECAUSE I HATE EVERYTHING EXCEPT ROCK)"?

Yeah. All the new posts are from newbies who won't stick around and haven't read anything except the title and decided "I DO NOT LIKE ELECTRO MUST POST MUST POST MUST TELL THEM IT ISN'T AN INSTRUMENT"

Computers have been used to create music for a long time. To this day, it has been more of a help, but things have been evolving to where they can be such - although they are abused to take the easy way out (The big complaint of many Retro and Proud of it people), they can also help create something very intense and cool. I love a lot of good Electronic Music, so I say yes.

Considering many of my posts here (usually that of Rock and Punk), this may come as a surprise to some, but I'm very "Pro" on this matter.
