Anyone want to help someone new to guitar out
 

Hey everyone, I picked up the guitar roughly 2 months ago and have mostly been doing chords/scales/written music and such. Recently I have been trying to learn some songs that I enjoy through tab. The example I'm gonna be using in this case is "Into The Void" by black sabbath. Im having trouble with the "Hammer Ons" and "Pull Offs"
Basically it goes "0h1p0"

So what im confused on is do I strum the open string once, then hammer on and pull off or do I strum open and hammer on then strum again and pull off? or something else entirely.
(also, if somthing is just h3 with no notes before it would I not strum anything on that and just hammer on?)

You got it...

0h1p0...strum 0 (open string) hammer on to first fret and pull off directly after...one strum 3 notes. And yes h3 is just slam your finger down on the fret without strumming anything.
