Keyboard
Hey guys, I would like to get a keyboard, but I would like it to sound as close to a classic piano sound as possible, does anyone have any recommendations for a certain type of keyboard, I also have a very low budget.
If you want it to sound as close to a classic piano as possible, I have a feeling you'd be going over your budget.
The one I have at home is... okay i don't remember who made mine, but it was cheap. And it doesn't sound real at all. |
oh darn
yeah but sadly i dont have 700$ to spend
also what model of Casio is it?
It's a Casio CDP-100... and unfortunately when I was shopping for digital pianos I learnt that that is how much you need to spend if you want it sounding and feeling as close to a real piano as possible. Mine was even one of the cheaper ones! Otherwise, anything cheaper would be a plain keyboard (not digital piano) which would possibly not have weighted keys, full length or a sustain pedal.
oh ok so I should shop for digital pianos then instead of keyboards, thanks so much for the help
so what are the major differences between and digital piano and a keyboard?
Casio! That's what mine is. [[=
ok these are the two digital pianos I am looking at
Casio AP400 Digital Home Piano at AmericanMusical.com Casio PX800 Privia Digital Home Piano at AmericanMusical.com Tell me what you think |
I would say the Px800, only because that's what I use at home.
Anything in the Privia line really. I use PX700 because that was all that's available.
