I'm 18 now. I had just turned 15, in the Christmas of 2006 I got an acoustic guitar.

I was obsessed with Oasis, I was from Manchester, so were they. I could relate to it, and it's all I listened to. Say what you want about them, they opened the door for me to listen to rock music, they changed my life. I wanted to pick up the guitar and play, straight away, I soon realised in my naivety that it wasn't as easy as it looked. So I abandoned it, and the acoustic just got damaged and ill treated.

Then when I was 17, I got really into music, buying CDs everytime I could afford them, listening to it all the time and so, I bought an electric, and I've played it ever since. I've fallen in love with the guitar.
