i was able to do it after 2 tries, but the F major is the worse, nothing compared to the C anyway.

I think it's just because your hands are so used to playing piano, then.
Try playing this. YouTube - Shawn Lane plays an Insane chord (at Memphis Guitars 1992) |
When I practice chords that I have trouble with I just hold the chord while doing something else. You do have some wicked barre chords which would make this impossible, but with chords like F major and **** it does good. However, the one downside is the fact that you can't hear if you are correctly barring and the only way to know is to pluck each and every string. It is a good method for getting to have the general chord down though.
The best way to stretch out your fingers enough for any hard chord is to prop your hand up more with your thumb and even move your elbow a bit if you have to. Don't go too extreme though. |
Playing along to simple songs with your guitar can also be an okay way to practice for the novice. You get to practive chords and listen to music at the same time.

Why does that link look like it's giving the wrong chord?
Is that just me? xD |
Yes.

I.. don't.. think... that's possible. I think he plays the low E and then frets the others.

>.< I didn't realize the picture is from the view you would see if you were looking down at the guitar.
That's why. |
