i'm just basing myself on musician's friend online store.
the cheapest hollowbody has a MSRP (manufacturer's suggested retail price) of $1000 that would be the G5120/22 for either single or double cutaway. they sell them for $699 the 5th from bottom is the G6118 Anniversary with a MSRP of $2500 either way you're still looking at a solid grand to get your hands on a legit gretsch hollowbody. quite frankly, the fact that you can't even gather information this simple (or word your demand into the form of a question) on your own leads me to believe you aren't really ready to drop the kind of cash necessary to get your hands on an instrument like this. just to fully answer... 4th cheapest - G100CE - $1050 3rd - G6131SMY - $2150 to $2225 2nd - G6131MY - $2350 to $2425 and yes, 2nd and 3rd are Malcolm Young signature series, the cheaper one only has 1 pickup. |
