.....I thought "revolution" would be a dead give away...just two chords.

"satisfaction"-rolling stones

In isolation any james brown song is easy to play-sometimes literally just one chord.

Joy Division/New Order songs

Not so much... you are forgetting 2 extra chords used in the intro... even so it's still worth mentioning.

Ricochet~kun 06-17-2009 08:04 AM

Stone Birds 06-17-2009 09:46 PM

How about naming some Stone Birds, it's your thread after all. I don't think Brittany Spears plays the guitar

Arya Stark 06-17-2009 09:53 PM

I think that was his point, JJJ.

But this isn't a test, Stone Birds. Stop trying to make everyone feel inferior.

i posted a one chord song. a SINGLE chord, G, typically one of the first ones you learn. you just strum it...

down, down, down up, up, down

repeat.

and you're complaining? if that's too 'complicated' for you then give away your guitar to the next person you see.

I lol'd.

& Stone Birds, are you looking for easy guitar songs because you're learning the guitar and you're finding the ones we posted too difficult or are you just wishing to cultivate a list of ridiculously easy guitar songs?

actually it for my friend Cherissa me and some friends are trying to help her learn the guitar. (she gets more confident when she can play an entire song)

gotcha.

in that case

jane says by jane's addiction. it's G and A with a little twiddly bit. i wrote a post on how to play it a while back on here. it's one of those songs girls really seem to like playing as well.

well umm, she's not so good with tabs (unless they tell her to strum the chord, anything else and she gets confused. but i'm still going to see if it works)

Boy Named Sue--Johnny Cash. and about a hundred other songs with the same three chords....

JKSmith 06-20-2009 05:08 PM

"The One Note Song" by Tenacious D. It's the 5th fret on the A string, and that's it. They bend it ridiculously, but still, its easy.
