Smile Cort Curbov 5 VS Godin Freeway 5

hi there!
first thing I have to say is that my english sucks so I `m sorry because of it.
I play bass for almost 7 years and I own Cort Curbow 5 bass guitar.
it is nice guitar, but there are a few things that I don`t like on it.

so,I have oportunity to make a deal: bass for bass, Cort for Godin Freeway 5.
I`ve never play Godin basses and I don`t know a lot about them.

what you think about that exchange?
it`s very important to me at this moment.

thank you very much!
cheers from croatia

godin is a canadian brand based in quebec with a strong reputation. i've seen their guitars around quite a bit and they seem rather popular for people who want something other than a fender or gibson.

i've never seen their basses though so i can't really comment, but if they're anything like the guitars it should be a solid instrument.

it seems like a fair exchange, you would be getting a more expensive instrument in the trade (the godin sells for about $100 more online). just try it out first to make sure it suits your tastes.

My guitar teacher uses a Godin bass, if that's any help at all. :P
