Default buying a new drum set

Im a little confused as to what drum set I should buy ...theres just to many to choose from .....I need an intermediate drum set ....im looking to spend 500-700 .....U guys have ne idea as to which set would be best

Simple decision for me. Pearl Forum 5 piece. Costs 500 new, and spend another 1-200 on some better cymbals. You will be very happy with it.

Forget this go on Craigslist and get a better drumkit for the same price with some cymbals already.

I agree with this...I got a Pearl Export series 5 piece with Sabian hi-hat, 20" ride and 16" crash for $250 on ebay and just bought 3 used cymbals with hardware for $175 all on eBay.

so i eneded up buying a tama rock star for 399 hardware for 150 w zildjian 3 piece pack for 130 ...everything was apprentlly on sale ....thanks!

what style do you wanna play? Its not that important because your just starting i doubt you really know haha. But um Ludwig Accent series has some quality stuff out there. Get some Sabian B8pro cymbals (more soulful) to start out with or some Zildjan ZHT's (if you like a bright rocky sound). I've been playing for three years so best of luck to you.

yea i got the zhts 4 pack theyre pretty good ...I play rock n some jazz ...I also got this pearl p 2000c I can do triplets easier now ...my old set a sound precus. really suckd ...thanks
