Default Skill testing songs

Ok I have been playing guitar for almost 2 years now and it is getting really hard for me to find new stuff to play thats at my level and will improve my playing... any suggestions?

Here is some of the harder songs that I can play all of
Master of Puppets
The Ocean
Black Bird
Seek and Destroy
Another Brick In The Wall PT2
Stack Shot Billy
Over the hills and far away
Mario Theme

I can tap fast and can tap some complex stuff... and I have some skills in sweeping

Also based on all of that hoow good am I doing for 2 years on the guitar?

you could always try going one step above what you already have

instead of metallica learn some slayer or meshuggah

either way playing music is not a sport

Don't get too rapped up in the technique...
I did, and then you realise...no one cares except shred heads...and they are the worst people
write some songs.

100 million percent agreed. You got to focus on what makes you different from any other super-shredder in the world, and start being creative and write your own songs. That and of course have fun!

Hey, Do you play with a band? Metronome?
I think a big part of guitar playing is not haw fast you can shred or your amazing tapping skills...within a solo the important part is the notes you hit and how the notes fit or dont fit into the scales/keys you are playing in.. i think that if you want to improve, and your technique sounds like its quite good for two years of playing you should try learning the modes...dorian, lydian etc and some different scales and then try focus on the sound of the notes you hit..get some weird notes in there and make your solos sound great! note wise...not just speed wise...
Know what i mean?
I think a lot can be said for experience playing in a band.. Ive been playing for around 8 years now...my technique hasnt gotten that much better than my first 3 or 4 years but I play with a band every week..and my skills have increased out of sight!!..
Thats my thoughts..hope they help..

I'd say you're progressing at a pretty normal speed, you're fine.

If you don't already have all of the modes/pentatonic scales down, practice them until you are comfortable with them all. Then grab some sort of recording device, record a chord progression, and try improvising some soloing.
