Needing a quite insterment...
I am a massive fan of Irish music and would enjoy learning to play an Insturment. I have never learned how to play an instrument before and thus I now that once I start to learn I will need tons of practice. I was wondering if anyone knew if there was any type of electric-pennywhistle or recorder so I can put headphones on and not bug my roommates (all 12 of them)? If so where online could one buy one?

those instruments rely very heavily on acoustics to produce any sound at all...I don't think you could make an electric one without making it electro acoustic.
