yeah, a double neck is really the only way to mimick 2 guitars with 2 tunings at once. and still, the majority of times double necks have the same tuning only one is a 12 string.
unless you have one of those custom leo kottke partial capos that only drop on certain strings you're not changing the tuning so much as changing the key. the relative difference in pitch between the strings is still the same. i don't mean to be a jackass here, but there has to be an easier way than a mid tune capo. just what song are you guys trying to cover? |

This is a really interesting question. I'm always having this discussion with my friends. We all came to the conclusion that the best place to put it when not using it was either the headstock of the guitar or the mic stand. It's really a matter of what you like better as an individual.

It's a ****ing clip... put it wherever the hell you want to
next thread: where do I put my gum when I am not quite done with it but am too tired of chewing it. (btw, I've lost a few capos in my time so maybe I should read through this thread a bit more carefully instead of being a prick )

I hear a joke about this once.
Why do guitarists leave their capo on the dashboard? So they can park in the handicap spaces. I said it was probably a drummer joke. Just change capo for drumsticks. |

I don't have one... and it appears you don't either.
I'm gonna make one up right now for you... What did the bad joke say to the audience member? "sorry for wasting your time, now go **** yourself" how was that?
