What instrument should I play??? (soundtrack, singer, bass, jazz)

There are too many guitarists with very few bringing anything new to the table. It's the age of the bassist!

Seriously though, it's something you should probably decide for yourself. I've played bass for a few years now but I want to go back and play piano again because:

a.) I used to play
b.) Polyphonic ability.
c.) I have a desire to do lead style composing as well as background.
d.) I've recently been feeling very inspired by game soundtracks, Herbie Hanc0ck and Arcturus.
