Bubbles on my pick guard...
FIXED IT thanks you guys.. it was a plastic sheath
Yeah for some strange reason there are 4-5 little bubbles on the pick guard at where my pick usually hits it when im playing... any idea what this is or how to fix it? I've never used any cleaning stuff or polish on it if that helps. |

pick guards usually come covered in a thin sheet of flexible plastic (like lunch bag material) and if you didn't take it off the bubbles could be in the plastic.

ahh... should i like unscrew the pickguard? i dont know how to string guitars... :'( they do it for free when i buy a pack at the music center so i never really thought to learn...

No just pull off the plastic sheath like a sticker.
|
Plastic protective coating that comes with new guitars will bubble after a while. Peel it off.
If it's not that, then it is either heat or chemical damage. |
lol dont unscrew it all

omg.... wow cool.. thanks guys

I was beginning to wonder what he was doing with Michael Jackson's maste on his guitar!
