Look I put the subject to rest.
Fair enough with guitars it's easier to use tabs. But myself it's not a bother to pick anything by ear with drums. I used a drum tab when I was starting out to learn to play South of Heaven by Slayer but thats all.

Well ill tell u how "stupid tabs" work. Because of them, can instantly be able to learn a song. I am a fill in drumer for some bands and need to learn the song very fast before shows sometimes. Without there tabs, it would be muchhhh harder for me.
