But how much does it cost? Lets just say that if you have to ask, you can't afford one.

... looks like a les paul that all they did was move some stuff puts some lights on it and give it a new paint job... can it like read your mind or something?

It tunes itself. Thats about it.

TheCaster 11-30-2007 06:21 AM

IT takes all of 20 seconds max to tune a guitar... why pay 1grand more...

FenderVGStrat 12-24-2007 01:20 AM

Hey Guys
Yeah I don't really like the guitar from what I have seen on the videos, thats like 9000 NZ dollars I think I read somewhere! I would rather go for the Fender VG Strat (haha thats my username hehe)

I've heard of this guitar but i can't figure out what's so good about it. I like Fender way better anyway.

Strap me to the anchor 01-01-2008 09:16 PM

yeah, this guitar is for lazy jerkoffs.

Mockingbird! 01-01-2008 09:38 PM

eh, it looks all right..

thomasdk 01-13-2008 05:22 AM

Looks awesome but the self tuning is overrated! Good guitar though!

TheCaster 01-13-2008 07:56 PM

anyone ever tried one out? i heard you gotta have a special stand that like charges it...

thomasdk 01-14-2008 10:22 AM

Unfortunately not yet!

Seems pretty cool to me- I'm looking forward to the time in five years when all guitars will tune themselves.

TheCaster 01-14-2008 08:19 PM

ohh i heard you gotta lock the strings in place and when you hit the lock it tunes it slightly out... so then you gotta unlock it and tune it slightly the other way

spook 01-16-2008 08:58 AM

I tried one and wasn't impressed. the sound wasn't anywhere near as good as our guitarist's Les Paul Custom, and the suistain was a little lacking.
I have always thought the more there is on a guitar, the more there is to go wrong during a gig.
Seems it's just another "gimmick" guitar, released in small numbers at a stupid price, that some folks will be mug enough top buy because they have too much money and not enough brains.

I think American guitars are getting towards rip-off prices these days, (don't get me wrong, I love 'em!), and for the same sort of money, you can go to a good guitar builder and have something made to your exact specifications - It's what I did, and my '76 Fender Precision hasn't been out of its case in years. I thought it was good, but it just didn't compare, and I've since had another bass made.

That's just lazy, and not very Rock N Roll!

cardboard adolescent 01-16-2008 03:18 PM

you're right - rock n' roll is not tuning the guitar at all

spook 01-17-2008 07:13 AM

Plug it in, turn the volume and gains up to 11 and thrash away!!

thomasdk 02-01-2008 12:25 AM

Haha, my words
