same...but dgx205 has 73 keys

psre403 has 61keys

they're both really good for sounds and not that expensive...plus u can mess around with the sounds on the e403 if ur into that

these are NOT the same type of instruments.

the DGX205 is for a keyboard player while the PSRE403 is for a studio.

the main difference aside from the keys is that the DGX205 has MIDI support so you can use its full range keyboard as a controller for other MIDI devices / synth modules.

the PSRE403 comes with a built in 6 track recorder. which leads me to believe it's intended to be used as an amateur home studio all in one workstation that can double as a performance instrument in a pinch. record your tracks, then punch them up as needed with the sounds available on the synth. no MIDI support pretty much means the sounds you buy are the only ones it'll play.

ooooops...i stand corrected i was thinkin the ypg-225

ypg-225 is actually the same as the prse402 but in 76 keys
