My current favorite is Taylor, I have a Hawaiian Koa Wood Limited Edition w/ custom inlay. I've had a few Taylor guitars, and I've not found anything that compares to the intonation, quality, durability, or stylish look. I've also owned and played for 2 years a Larivee - great, great guitar, but didn't hold up to well. I had to recently replace it.

i like gibson guitars mostly for the les paul and the explorer.
however, i had a kramer one time with an aluminum neck that was really cool. i'd love to have another one of those. and i always wanted to try a carvin just to see what they are like. |

I'm a Gibson guy, my fave being an old Les Paul DeLuxe with the mini-buckers. All guitars have their uses, though. Even a crummy guitar can have a useful tone given the right song.
