i borrowed a floor tom and high hat from a Peace set i put a tambourine on one of the floor tom's legs so, every hit gets a nice tambourine after sound, and i also hit an overturned bucket, I saw a snare drum at savers for $20, if it's there tommorow , I'll have that too

Mapex m-series 6 piece kit. I've added a 13" brass piccolo snare and got a 12" steel popcorn snare for my high school graduation (along with my truck). I mainly use the piccolo snare, and only the popcorn snare in short fills most of the time. The snare that came with the kit now acts as a little tray for my ear plugs and water bottle until I need it.
Toms; 10" and 12" mounted toms on the bass drum, and 14" and 16" mounted floor toms on a stand. Was thinking of adding another tom, but I figured I'll just turn off the snare on my popcorn snare and use it as a high tom since it's positioned next to the actual high tom. Dunno the dimensions of my bass drum, I know it's diameter is 22". I stuffed a long pillow in it, and have a hole cut out in the front for my mic (which I have yet to use). I also have a bass-mounted cowbell wedged in between my two toms on the bass drum. I play both open handed and right handed, so for convenience sake, I have both my hi hat and my ride to my left. I plan to get a second ride cymbal to put on my right as well as a second hi hat to put on my right o I can be truly open handed. I just got to wait for my body to crap out money. Cymbals are Zildjian A-series, with the exception of my 16" Zildjian Oriental China cymbal, my 14" A-custom crash, an off brand 14" china, and a 10" Sabian Xs splash. My other cymbals are the 14" hi hat, 20" ride, 16" crash, and another 10" cymbal which sounds higher pitched than its Sabian counterpart. As I said, my hat and ride are both to my left. My two chinas are both on my right, with the 16" one to my farthest right. Splashes are stacked above my two crashes, which all 4 cymbals are in the middle; 16" crash on my right, and 14" on my left. Double bass pedal as well. ........... I just hit it all.

For about 5 or 6 years, on and off. Not as good as I should be, though.
Was pretty expensive. But Ig to some good deals on some stuff, such as the kit. Price was 1500, but the guy sold it to me for a little over 900 dollars. Right now, I'm trying to find time to try and learn ow to use this recording equipment.

Whatever happened to the good old days when all you had to do was perform in front of the King of England or France and he pretty much was the opinion of the people? All you needed to impress was one guy.

1970's Slingerland black oyster pearl. It was my dad's old kit and it is simply awesome. I play with zildjian cymbals but mix and match the types, I have some A's and a Kustom. But the one I really love is my ride. It's a zildjian that I found with my dad's kit so it is old and doesn't have an exact type but the overtones of it can't be beat. I have a list of favorite drummers: Keith Moon, John Bonham, Neil Peart, Buddy Rich, Carter Bruford, Terry Bozzio... the list goes on and on. I play with 2B Nylon tip Vic Firth's, the only way to go.
