new electric guitar.
want advice on this guitar im thinking of getting sometime soon. not sure what a good guitar should have, only chose this one because i think it looks cool.

^Good taste. I like the way those play (or at least the one I played when I was looking for new guitars). The P-90 pickups are pretty much a combination of a single coil and a humbucker, and they give a rich, bright, well rounded sound. Overall, thats a great guitar, but if you've got the money I would step it up to the Standard or the Pro. Based on the ones I've played (which is quite a few) you will usually get better playability out of those. Of course it is all about personal preference, so you may like the way the Faded plays.
Good choice, although I'm more of a fan of SG's and regular Les Paul's.

on the subject of gibson guitars, im quite fond of this one, i didnt know they made such good looking acoustic guitars.

^That's the MSRP. No guitar retailer in their right mind would sell a guitar at list price. None of the faded models are EVER.....EVER more than $700 bucks.
