This thread is awfully empty... No guitarists? I'm trying to learn to play, so I like reading what others have to say about it from time to time... ^^

:') Oh I'm waaaay beyond not knowing chords ans stuff. I can also handle tabs, I just don't get faster. And I get stuck while playing certain things. That's all. And I'm mostly a guitar n00b, as in guitar types. That's why I still have a crappy one.

You need to break your old habits. Try new things. Try learning a new style. Pick up some guitar magazines read the columns, play new stuff.

Listen to something new. Try to learn it. Learn Jazz.

There they were in a pile. A pile of little arms. And I remember... I... I... I cried. I wept like some grandmother. I wanted to tear my teeth out. I didn't know what I wanted to do.
