Two of my favorites and no disrespect to Bootsy on this but I am going with Jaco. I think I will pick Jaco over anyone for life lol

I think it's like comparing pizza to spaghetti. Sure they both traditionally have tomato sauce and cheese on top but that's about where it begins and ends.

Also Jaco pulled this off on stage -

From groovy jazz wizardry to a flash of harsh atonal shred to some Coltrane then wraps it all up into one for the finish. Brilliant.

Technically/musicianship I would say Jaco but I prefer Bootsy's groove and sound. He's less clinical.
