The Bass thread

I have three basses. One acoustic, two electrics. Great basses.

Though some would probably disagree. Played electric bass for about a year now, upright for about six.

My favourite bassist would be a mix between John Entwistle, Georg Holm and Frank Denunzio.

Thats a beauty Gb. Maple is the top wood of the gods. Any idea what pickups are in that sucka? Also as far as quilte dmaple goes that looks like a grade A job. I see so many that are terribly sloppy.

JPJ, Flea, and Jack Bruce are among my favorites.
I have a junky old bass... a Dean. it works, we used it for band practice when my bassist cannot make it, or I offend another bassist and he quits or I kick him out. My main band has been through 4 so far, you guys are soft!!

I have an Ernie Ball Music Man Sterling, an svt pro classic head with an apmeg 8x10. Sounds exactly how I want it to.

Favorite bassist would be victor wooten. Even though I don't play slap style in my band, he definitely got me interested in playing bass soooo much more.

Today I played through a Fender Solid State100 Watt Bass amp with a 15 inch speaker. I ran my Les Paul and Fuzz pedal through and it sounded ****ing amazing.
