Maybe it's just the picture, but the body looks like it would be too much for me. I like a sleeker, more compact guitar. But, of course, if it's what you like, go for it.

ha thats funny, the body is actually smaller then my 4-string

I started with a very similar bass, Peavey Milestone III.

That's in it's glory days. Now it's nothing but a neck and gutted body.

I'm considering getting a Hartke LH500 and possibly a new cab to replace my current setup.

No, it was originally white before I painted it. It's gone through various phases of blue and purple throughout the years. I miss the wild berry pop-tart look.
