Thumbs up Who is a natural guitarist here?

I'm asking because I am one myself, and it really helps when it comes to writing songs on guitar. The songs I have written are...I'd have to say really good ones.
I tend to find myself efffortlessly coming up with tunes, I have so many it's hard to catch up. I have lots of tapes with recordings on them.
When it comes to the lyrics- I am a natural poet, so I don't have any problems there, except that I am a perfectionist.
I have so many unfinished lyrics, lol, it's ridiculous. You'd think that I could come up with a few last lines for the last chorus but I can't...but I'm working on it.

Any one feel free to post their thoughts on these topics.

i taught myself guitar, but i plan on beginning lessons just to broaden my skill and knowledge

me and a friend of mine, usually he just plays some random chords and i spontaneously come up with a riff/cover melody kind of thing for it. if its good, we write it down or try to remember it. if it sucks, forget it.

what bothers me is when you think of a really good riff but can't come up with lyrics that fit the melody. when i get songwriters block like that it usually means ive stayed up too late and i need to get back to sleep.

ive got so many little blurbs that ive recorded that i dont have lyrics for, and the archive just keeps getting bigger

^ Barre chords are stupid., except for the F chord. I paly folf rock...so alterante tunings, and fast chord changes... I have played for like 4 months, and im good i guess, I could only use my pointer and middle finger, to pick if i wanted too, because they are so long .

I wanted to tear my teeth out. I didn't know what I wanted to do. And I want to remember it. I never want to forget it. I never want to forget. And then I realized... like I was shot... like I was shot with a diamond... a diamond bullet right through my forehead. And I thought: My God... the genius of that.

Sorry to hear about your pinky finger, that is a bummer. I pray nothing ever happens to any of my guitar fingers..I couldn't live without guitar.

You will, if you play long enough.
