you've done very well, honestly....i think your vocals are poor, but you've done well to hide it, its well written, well put together, well recorded and overall i quite like it, practice your singing! but very nice keep it up, i would like to here some more so to have a better idea of how you write...one song is never enough, especially one that lasts two minites.

Thanks a lot man, I really appreciate that honest answer. I don't know what it is, but my voice is different when I record versus me singing live. I don't know if it's better, but it's just different. I'm going to work on the singing though, don't worry. A new song should be up sometime soon, so I'll keep you posted. Thanks again.

If you're that concerned about your vocals, hire a singer or go instrumental. But They aren't too bad.
Also, your voice sounds different to you than to other people. That's true. You hear freuencies that your skull amplifies, but is negated when spoken to other people. Maybe that's why.

The vocals really weren't that bad. You've got a nice tone for recording. Pitching is a little off in some parts, but you're not tone deaf or anything.
The sound itself could do with more direction...like having it culminate in something more. Maybe because of being nervous about your vocals you've gone a safe route and kept them low-pitched and reasonably even paced. I think the song would benefit heaps if you expanded your singing style (perhaps by getting lessons, which are heaps helpful, but hardly a prerequisit for sounding cool). Maybe look at your vocals in terms of different rhythm patterns and melodies. A full set worth of that singing style would become a bit monotonous. But it's a nice song...minimalist without sounding thin or too amateur...and you have a style that can be developed into something really good.
