What strings do you use?
Hmm.
What kind of strings would do you guys use? Just a checking of preferences, btw. Cheers, Crawldaddy |
Eddie ball, I use heavy a gauge but 9s are best :)

^HAHAHAHAHAHA:rofl::rofl:
thats ERNIE. good to see you back spikey. ernie balls just dont do it for me. i bent a string in half playing them. so...i stopped using those. i tried blue steel and GHS....but i find that elixirs are the best. they last forever. the only reason i would ever use blue steel again is the sound they give. i use 11's on my strat and 9's on my esp. theyre a little light for metal but the floyd makes 'em work. |
in not fussy, i've always just baught super slinkys, who the hell's gonna notice the difference anyway.

My thoughts exactly. You pay $4 at the most for a set that will last you around a month. The only difference is the guage size. I'm not spending $11 for a pack of strings that feel the same. Oh and I use Ernie Ball Regular Slinky (the green pack) |
and strings down here at their cheapest are £7 for me. i can't find them any cheaper and they're the same ones your using and with the exchange rate you can times that by a half if you want to convert into dollars, see, i have no choice, the cost of strings is putting me slowly under the poverty line.

Mine do it within 8 days of putting them on. Party because I have clamy handsxcore and partly because I don't have anything to clean them with. |
^exactly. i rarely clean my strings. ill wipe them down with my shirt when im done playing but other than that...i havent cleaned them for about a month.
if you dont want to spend the extra money, get "finger ease". its this spray on stuff (i forget exactly whats in it) but it cleans up the strings really well. |
i dunno i think silver bullets
