![]() ![]() ![]() Peavey VK 412 Straight cab. Blackstar HT-5R Head A few weeks ago I got a killer deal on a Peavey VK212 100w tube amp, and while it sounds absolutely amazing, it is way too loud for bedroom use. I really wanted to keep using a tube amp because their tone is just so much better than a solid state but I needed something I could actually hear and use in the bedroom. The cabinet I scored from a pawnshop for $70 because it was missing the logo and they didn't know what it was. Generally these things retail for around $200 used and $350 new, so I got a pretty smoking deal. |
