Nice! Are you learning it? I had to learn the basics of violin in school and coming from a bass (and guitar) background, I had to get over the initial shock of not having frets (so having to remember to place my fingers absolutely correctly on the fingerboard). And that the strings are GDAE. And a few other things, like how to tune it properly, lol.
My boyfriend plays violin quite well though.
