Thanks man, contrary to that stock photo I ended up with a Mapex hi-hat stand and a Roland accessory pack that included a kick pedal (kp-250) and throne. Not really sure what to look for when it comes to foot pedals yet. According to Google the kick is actually a Tama Iron Cobra jr. with a different face plate. From my perspective - it works, so that's good enough hahaha

Though any suggestions / tips are always appreciated

Now I need to figure out how to properly set that hi-hat, it keeps spinning and the open/close sensitivity isn't quite right.
