So I finally got around to learning guitar last year during COVID lockdowns. Bought myself an acoustic, found a teacher (initially over Zoom, now in person), practised every day that I could. Today I picked up a Stratocaster. It's a Squier, it's as old as I am, and it's in need of new strings and a setup. But it still feels like Christmas

I've been off and on the violin since I was six. It has a pick-up amplifier that admittedly I barely used when playing. I play the piano and recently moved to a Casio CDP-S100 rather than a standard piano. I love playing with the electric piano voices.

I've been playing guitar for 4 years now, and the first reason I got into guitar was purely because I was bored, and then I followed the advice of my online friends and got my first guitar: Yamaha's FG800. Because I had no prior knowledge of the subject, I started with the basics of music, and then I learned guitar techniques through various guitar lessons on YouTube. It's been 4 years now, and although I'm not as good as those guitarists who play great, I can still hold my own as a personal talent.

I'm a huge fan of the ukulele and have been playing it for a few years now. It's a small and lightweight instrument that's perfect for traveling or playing on the go. I love the sound it produces, which is both mellow and cheerful at the same time. One of the best things about the ukulele is that it's relatively easy to learn, making it a great instrument for beginners. I'm constantly discovering new techniques and songs to play on the ukulele, which keeps me motivated and inspired.

i've been playing guitar on and off for about 18 years and impulse bought a nice looking les paul a little while back and i can't put it down
i recently moved to a new city and only brought what could fit in my little car, and that meant i didn't bring any instruments outside of a usb midi keyboard and i miss my guitars back home every day but i'm hoping to make it back to get them soon! i'm finding all kinds of new inspiration and am really into playing funk and city pop style music even though my roots are in punk & rock |
