The combination of the lightweight (5 lbs), cool body shape (is comfy to play standing, sitting, even lying down - I tried it), the multi-scale (it transitions from a Strat scale on the low E to Les Paul on the high E), and the crazy neck have all helped my playing more than I would have imagined. And Neo, I can't believe you have to ask about the benefits of having two knobs over one. It's simple math silly. Two is bigger, better, and simply MORE than one. Duh. |
I understand the reason for the one knob, seem apparent it's paying homage to EVH. So having two knobs isn't always necessary. If you constantly gigging I can see the advantages of having two identical guitars - having one for back up in case you break a string. The question is which one do you leave on the guitar stand - the one knob or two knob guitar? If I have two identical guitars one would have to be in alternative tuning. eg one Telecaster in standard and the other in Open G tuning.

Simply really, they get alternated each day.
Only one comes out of the closet at a time. Kinda like this place.... |

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Aen2aW-Y-aE That's an older model. I have Progs. Chambered swamp ash, maple top (the Plini model also has a veneer of Aussie blackwood), 3-ply maple neck with carbon fiber, ebony board, SS frets, and Suhr SSH+ and SSV pups. The Plini has no tone control and only a 3 position switch - middle position being one of the split coil from a std. 5-way. No hyperbole: My playing has improved and been more consistent since getting fully comfortable with it. Wished I stumbled on them years ago. |

I've seen similar guitars that you own on Amazon -- sub $350 price range. Since you have the original (authentic) model you should buy the EART copy and do a side-by-side comparison video and post it. But it has to be the EART, it has some of the same features -- Ash body etc. Let us know if the EART is as good as the original and worth getting. Either way you probably can return it & get your money back. Remember: EART guitars. It's ear with a "t" or Earth without the "h." |

No need to school me on Leo and the Strat - but you knew that. If you're not interested in the guitar, why'd you ask the ****ing question? "What's the big deal about them?" |

I guess you can say you've made it as a guitar brand if the cheap overseas guys start copying you. "Indian rosewood fingerboard, mixed arc (9.5-14), 24 grades of high-oxygen quality silk, crown, polished round, not hurting hands." A for effort! |

https://i.imgur.com/67reQYk.jpg?1 Now I can work out while I play my knock-off POS MIC Les Paul. lol The slightest neck bend and that things gonna snap in two. What a hunk of junk. That Squier Strat plays real nice and that Schecter Diamond has it's pro's and con's, but that was bought the night of my first gig with Koncrete Pillow for real cheap about a decade ago. I think just over $200. My Washburn nylon in the back of that tree is my oldest. I bought her in 1999 and she's real buttery. My Carvin and Cordoba stay in their cases and my PRS stays by my recording rig. https://i.imgur.com/MRAmvoJ.jpg?1 I haven't played much lately, but I have a small gig next weekend so I gotta hone some chops this week. I set this all up recently in my garage and I'll probably plug in there for a bit and bother the neighbors. https://i.imgur.com/ZzNdiKZ.jpg?1 |
