****ing beautiful! Are these made in the same Japan factory as the old Prestige models? They turn out some of the best shred axes on the planet.
Because of finances I've got to let this one go. Breaks my heart. I'd planned on it going to the grave with me. 2007 Historic R9 in mint condition.

I like high end Gibsons, because to me;
My 1996 Custom Shop is a guitar with the build quality of Willis Jeep and can take whatever you throw at it, but looks all pretty and shiny; like a delicate sports car or F1/Formula 1 racing car, almost - but it's anything but . . . My 2005 R7 is a guitar with the build quality of a locomotive/train, and'd plow through/destroy whatever you threw at it . . . My R7's headstock reminds me of an American locomotive/steam train just by looking at it because of how it's built and what it does. - and it looks beautiful like, a locomotive at a ceremony; powerful and dressed to impress. Like it's wearing a tux'... It looks like James Bond maybe, or even a Bond Girl because it's sexy, and has that belly as I call it that I like, like the belly of a Bond Girl in a two piece swim suit, and my 1996 Custom Shop has the same 'belly', like a hot girl in a two piece swim suit... Stock 1998/1999 DNXXXXXX American Fender Deluxe Stratocaster, Ash Body/Teal finish/Maple fretboard 1960's modded Framus Hollywood I bought at a pawnshop when I was 13. When I bought it When I was 20, I had it fixed and when I turned 21, as my 21st birthday present to myself, I had it customised to what I wanted it to be. Looks like this. A custom build Aardvark Telecaster/Stratocaster copy with an acoustic guitar neck profile/bone nut. High end copy, built in Surrey, England, by a man named Doug who no longer builds guitars due to health reasons. Had a 2009 refret and in 2015 I had it upgraded with a Fishbone Powerbridge, looks like this now. Last edited by Lesbian With A Gun; 02-05-2018 at 09:23 PM. |

Last week I bought 3 acoustics
(Seller's photo) 1951 Stella by Harmony H929 stock from a guitar shop in NYC, NY. This is what it looks like with me (Seller's photo) a rare 1969 Stella by Harmony H913 12 String with a pro set up (way cool)! from a business who restores and sells rare guitars in Nashville, TN This is what it looks like with me I scored an early 1950's Italian parlour guitar called a Catania Carmelo from a local music shop who knew not what they had/called it something else because of a misleading department store sticker it had from it's original seller 65 years ago... One I found from an auction site, might even be my guitar. Me with my guitar/Catania Carmelo |

I can see why you prioritized your collection like that though. Still, RIP.

Yeah I know man, the R314KK was hard to let go, they really are great guitars, but we had a good run together. It was an awesome road trip/camping guitar, it wrote a lot of tunes for me, but it came down to the Washburn or the Larrivee, and I may never own a guitar as nice as my Larrivee again.

ESP LTD B-206SM Six-String Bass Guitar

All of my equipment is insured from the different places I bought it. Well, not all of it, but like 80% of it. Back when I had money, I dropped half my checking account on music equipment. I needed a car at the time, but I figured: "At least if I get the music equipment instead of the car, if I lose my job because I can't get to work, I suppose I can just play some awesome music until the electric gets shut off." lol. It's not much, but it's a decent start. It's quite likely that I'll have to downgrade over time, rather than upgrade like I'd like to, due to a lack of finances. So, I've decided that I'm just going to get a hollow body bass next. So I can play bass anywhere, even after all my equipment stops working. As like a long-term investment type of a thing.
