Finally got this all up and running. Took a bit of setup on the MMJP because it comes stock with 10s and I prefer 9s. So being a floating trem and all....... you know how it goes. Tweak, tweak, repeat.
The Yamaha THR5 is the cats meow. After an hour of going through all it can do I'm sold. I'm finally going to be able to feel like I'm playing a dimed tube amp while Linny is asleep in the other room. Yamaha has always been at the forefront of modeling tech. Their DG series set the stage - Holdsworth relied on it for many years. With the THR stuff they've finally nailed it.

^Those amps are amazing.
Our bass player has one from that series (a slightly bigger one though) and I was totally blown away by the power and clarity of that little thingy.

"Band" sounds so serious.
We don't even have a proper name. I play with two friends. We've been trying to be slightly more professional about it lately, but still mostly end up screwing around. I'm a pretty terrible musician and have no ambitions in this field except having some fun 1-2 times a week.
