Just got myself an ETC LTD 331 guitar, and damn, it's doing one fine job for me. Incredible sound, clean performance, and sleek overall look. Awesome guitar, I have no regrets.

I have a yamaha fsx acoustic. I'm planning on getting an amp in the next few days, which hopefully eventually leads to an electric guitar and bass.

Sold all of my gear to pay for school tuition a couple of years ago.
Over the last two weeks I've begun assembling a new high quality rig that'll last me a long time.

Already posted this in Your Day but may as well leave it here too.

American Standard Telecaster, Natural Finish, Maple Neck, Custom Shop single-coil pickups.
MESA Boogie Single Rectifier Solo Head - 50W
Laney Ironheart 2x12 Speaker Cabinet (IRT212)

Where the FECK is trumpet on the poll?

Also, I've been playing the trumpet since 5th grade, and ai'd say I'm fairly good now, but I still have a long long way to go. I play jazz and classical at my community college, and I do at least a half hour of practicing every day, even when I have all my music down, since I've got The Real Book to learn something new from.
Two instruments I would love to learn would be the upright bass and drums. Maybe wlectric bass too, but I don't have the money to rent or buy em, nor a tutor to help me learn the basics.

Also, soccer ball. :soccer:

Got these for Xmas:

Bongos, a Fender Mando, and a Fender amp lunchbox:

A guitar-pick box, and picks with my logo on them from my daughter. I was amazed, and it took quite a bit to hold back the waterworks:

A Takamine Tenor Ukulele (pictured forefront/left). I cannot put this thing down. It's an amazing little piece of sonic goodness.

^ Looks like you'll be having lots of fun in the new year! The Fender mandolin is beautiful. I love the customized pick box and picks with your logo on them. Your daughter is obviously very thoughtful - what a fantastic gift. Glad you're enjoying that Takamine tenor uke. A store selling only ukes opened near our home in recent months. Your description of the Takamine inspires me to go visit there. :)

She's an incredible person. Thanks ribbons.

Yes, do go visit! If you've never played a Ukulele, it's really just a bit of adjustment if you know your way around a 6 string. Blues box patterns, and augmented triads are quite similar. In the short time I've been playing one, I've come up with quite a few tunes, including some flamenco style ones.

Nice. Just got a Fender Mando for xmas myself. Looks about the same but has the built in pickup since I will be using it on stage. Been playing Going to California non stop for days!

I've just tuned mine and it's been sitting doing nothing, since the Tenor Uke has taken over everything. Good deal on the electro Mondo. That'd be a nice bonus having one to plug in and mess with some effects.

My family asked for a Christmas list and it was 90% instruments. I didn't get any :(. You guys are lucky to have a family that's not afraid to encourage you.
