Hey man, even if they're now better guitars, I still wouldn't use 'em!!!:bonkhead:
Obviously I play drums as my main passion now, but over the years I have moved WAY UP in the quality of guitars that I purchased/played.

Listen, once you're up, why go down?I mean, even the "best" squier doesn't hold a chance up to a Gibson or even just a "standard strat", ya know?

There may be one advantage to purchasing a squier, though...
...You could trash it on stage and not have to worry about what it's cost was or how bad you break it, see?
That would be fun...
...or you could drop it off of a 10 story building!!!What a "smash", peace!!!

I started with a squier strat pack, and I never had any problems with it. Besides, that's why it's not an espentsive guitar. It's a starter's guitar, and not very high-quality. I don't see why people always complain about it. Anyway, I have a Schecter C-1 Classic in blue, which looks, sounds, and plays fantastic. I have a Marshall 30-watt 30dfx amplifier, which also is comletely wicked, a Boss OS-2 Overdrive/Distortion pedal, and a Boss PH-3 Phase Shifter. I've been playing a little over a year, and generally play hard rock, but can roll with anything from metal, to classical, to a little slow rock/jazz.

those marshall DFX amps seem to blow out their speakers very easily. i dont suggest playing too loud on that.

Yeah, I noticed you play(ed) a 5 string and that's cool and all, but I have a question...
...I know every company that makes bass strings has made 4 string packages, but do you know which ones, if any, are making the 5 and 6 string bass guitar packages lately?

Obviously the strings would have to be "replaced" eventually whether they lasted or not, ya know? Thanks for any "news" on this, peace!!!:)

I have an accoustic guitar .. am not good at it, used it 10 years ago, but I realised I am not good at music. I can talk about it, listen to it, but am not able to compose or play an instrument ...

I got a first act awhile back cause it was cheap. Don't buy it even if you just need something to learn on. It makes this annoying rattleing noise if you pick the top string and just sucks in general and the main guitar i use is an ibanez.
