You're gonna have to change the pots in those teles with the Wide Range buckers as the tone of the pickups are very dark and muddy, well unless you like that kind of thing. Well anyway, 1 meg pots would do probably the trick.

I have a tele custom (yes, just one tele) and it has a standard telecaster bridge pickup and a Wide Range humbucker in neck. I want to get a standard telecaster but, that's gonna have to wait after I get a few things.

Selling DVD players and other electronics is ****ty as well, but my music equipment is very personal and sentimental...if I let someone borrow it, that would show that I trusted that person a lot. Words can't describe the **** storm selling it all off would cause.

what kind of living situation is he in? how far removed from living with his folks? it's kind of lame and borderline prick-ish but if the kid can't pay up, the parents usually can - depending on the situation. if he's just a reflection of the screwups that made him then it's a dead end, on the other hand if he's just rebelling against the squares that forced him into existence and they're refusing to see that little Timmy actually has a problem now might be a good time to visit Auntie and give her a reality check (and bill). small claims court is also an option but likely far too much stress and hassle for what it's worth. |
