ehh...nothing really...to each his own. i just havent liked their instruments that i have played.

Fair enough. Alot of what people like in an instrument is personal preferance anyway.

schecter c-5's are good. im getting one for christmas and they own. they run about $500 to $550. not bad for a 5 string with an active preamp.

no i dont actually. lol. it has EMG hz pick ups which are passive (most EMGs are active but these arnt) and has an active EQ.

I'd go with Ibanez's, Fender's or Gibsons.

My bassist has an Ibanez and it has a good sound.

I own a Fender P-Bass which is more pricey than the Ibanez. The P-Bass and Jazz Bass both have great sounds
