I have a Strat and a cheap acoustic.

I want either a Jazzmaster or an ES 335.

save up for it. you won't regret it.

it's really that simple, make a plan and stick with it. i scrimped and saved at a part time job for $5 an hour for 9 straight months before i got mine ('94 mexican). you better believe it felt AWESOME when i dropped that cash and took it home back in the day.

Yeah. I've played on a Fender Strat in my school. I LOVE PLAYING HENDRIX and stuff like that. It just sounds amazing on a fender!

Nothing against Hendrix but to buy a guitar for this reason isnt enough by me. The strat is so much more than a blues/rock machine. With the exception of maybe death metal I am yet to see a genre a strat cannot overcome.

Go try a C-1 series Shecter. The craftsman ship is just as good if not better to many of the main PRS line. Not only this but they come with great electronics and hardware. Typically tone Pro Bridge, Grover Tuners, 59/Custum Pickups and amazing quality woods.

Schecter Hollywood Classic Guitar Specifications:

* Construction: Neck-Thru with Ultra Access
* Body: Mahogany with Solid Flamed Maple Wings
* Neck: Multi-Laminate Maple / Walnut / Wenge
* Scale: 25.5"
* Fingerboard:Ebony
* Frets: 24 Jumbo
* Inlays: MOP "Schecter Crest" at 12th fret
* Binding: Creme (Neck and Headstock)
* Pickups: Seymour Duncan Custom Custom '59
* Electronics: Volume / Tone (tap) / 3-way switch
* Bridge: TonePros with Thru-Body
* Tuners: Schecter Locking
* Hardware: Chrome
* Colors:
o See-Thru Red (STR)
* Left Hand Availability: Yes. Specify left handed in order notes at checkout.
* Case (Not Included): SGR-1C / Lefty: SGR-UNIV/1

But dont take my word for it, try one yourself. The C-1 line is amazing.
