Question Gibson/Baldwin (Epoch) Melody Maker.

Is anyone familiar with a Gibson/Baldwin Melody Maker (Epoch) electric guitar?
The body style is nice looking guitar with humbucker pickups, but the guitar seems to have the problem of staying in tune, which is a famous trademark with alot of Les Paul guitars by Gibson, at least a few LP's I've owned before.
I guess maybe a good set of tunning keys would help, any suggestions?

Started on a Squier Bronco, then worked my way up to a Mexican Fender Precision. I've got my eyes on a Rickenbacker when I win the lotto.

I have a Strat and an SG, so I'm pretty set in the electric guitar department. I want a really badass acoustic next, but I haven't decided which brand I want to go with. Something that has a neck similar to a Strat, for sure.
