^My other guitar is a Squier. I plays like crap right now because I'm SO METAL that I put fatty grooves in the frets and its got horrible buzz. Other than that though.........It probably pwns your Schecter too.

oh....and my next guitar........which I'm getting from my uncle in a few weeks.....

Custom Shop Ibanez Blazer (early 80's model)

But maybe I don't want to finish anything anymore..
maybe I can wait in bed 'til she comes home. and whispers....

i worked up to that guitar over the 8 years over lessons between the 4 guitar teachers and that, i didn't pop out at birth and have my gibson thrown at me.
...and you can't judge a single soul on here, unless you've travelled the u.s and europe scouting them out and listening to them play.
ArtistInTheAmbulance got it right.

Someone said to me once "A good guitarist will make a crap guitar sound good, but if your a terrible player, an expensive guitar won't save you"

But... I think a good guitarist deserves a good guitar, just to squeeze out that extra potential sound.

Its ok and cool to talk about what guitars we have, I just think playing it is what really counts, I have a Yamaha ERG and that has a a metal pickup setup, 2 humbuckers, 1 single coil - And it does its job very nicely, perfect guitar for rock and metal.

In due course though, I will get myself a better more expensive guitar no doubt, then it will be upgrades after that.

No of course I wasn't, I think its best if all beginners get themself a basic guitar to begin with, then if they are good enough and are serious about playing they should find one with a voice that the player likes.

There are alot of MTV kids about now, perhaps mostly stereotyped as emos - Most of those kiddys have guitars but cannot play them, same with rich kids -they have a guitar just because its cool to have one.

I can happily play on any guitar, but like I said earlier its nice to have a more unique one with your voice.

Keep up the guitar playing

I have been trying to play for about two years. And I still suck, and my guitar is even worse than me... But I like playing, calms me down, or gets me excited, eventhough the sound coming out is horrible.

moley - That would piss me right off, feel for you.

Alo - Doesn't matter what your playing is like, if you enjoy keep at it, theres no reason why you should quit.
