Connect a digital piano to computer without usb?
I want to buy a Kawai ES110 that doesn't have usb entrance but i want the possibility to play it as a midi controller.
Is that possible with this Midi-Usb Cable? Below I insert images with the inputs of the digital piano and the cable (sorry for the english) Last edited by Luuke; 03-16-2018 at 04:27 AM. |

"You can also use dedicated MIDI sockets, but since most computers don’t include MIDI ports themselves, you will probably need to use an adapter or USB-MIDI cable."
Well thank you. I think that this cable can do what i need I was uncertain about the IN OUT (midi-usb) cable. I mean is that correct? It needs to be (MIDI=IN) and (USB=OUT)? |

Should you want to buy an external soundcard that has midi in, they're generally cheap on the used market. Something small like a NI Komplete Audio 6 might suit you.
