Garageband test and recording advices request

I recorded this with a macbook using Garageband and added a slight reverb to make the tone more enjoyable to the ear : ht t p s ://soundcloud.com/zakaria-chana/hallelujah-test-1 (erase the dots)

I don't own nor can buy a microphone at this moment, so I need advices and tips on how to record (also video) a music performance with maximum quality and efficacity -and in a cheap way...

Thank you any advice is much appreciated ! I honestly think i'm talented, I would llove to break my current boundaries, and maybe perhaps be able to make a living from music... ^^
