Garageband test and recording advices request
I recorded this with a macbook using Garageband and added a slight reverb to make the tone more enjoyable to the ear : ht t p s ://soundcloud.com/zakaria-chana/hallelujah-test-1 (erase the dots)
I don't own nor can buy a microphone at this moment, so I need advices and tips on how to record (also video) a music performance with maximum quality and efficacity -and in a cheap way... Thank you any advice is much appreciated ! I honestly think i'm talented, I would llove to break my current boundaries, and maybe perhaps be able to make a living from music... ^^ Just tell me everything I need to know ! |

I don't know if you're using Garageband for iPhone, iPad, or OSX, but apart from using the built in microphone on any of those devices (which has to be really crappy SQ, by the way), their really is no way to record voice/external instruments without using an external mic and/or an instrument interface like iRig, especially not in one shot, I'm not entirely sure if that's possible with a mic using garageband, unless you're content to just "record the room".
