Default New PA

My band has carried around this old PA for far too long. I can't remmeber the last gig we did not have one problem or another with it.

We are looking to spend about 1800. What are yalls suggestions?

I'm thinking JBLs, or save some dough and get a new Samasun set up for 1200 or so.

I'm not sure if it's available there. But I recently set up a set by the brand "DAP".
They make a lot of crap, but their pro series are good. And I mean JBL Good.
And dirt cheap.

I must add thought that the active JBL's with Crown amps the guy had before (!) the DAP speakers kicked ass too

I will give them a look. My friend and guitar lutherie is really into this stuff, and he will know all about DAPs, I'll give him a call today.

Thanks !

Make sure you mention it's the pro series. Not the cheap ones.
DAP really improved over the years, so he might say I don't know what I'm talking about.
It used to be something like JBsystems or Alecto .
