Turntable Suggestion fo Newbie

I am an absolute novice when it comes to vinyl and turntables.I am interested in enjoying the few vinyl records I've purchased, but don't know
what turntable I should invest in. If anyone has any suggestions on the type of amplifers or speakers I should purchase, it would be a hugh help to me.

I am looking for recommendations from anyone who has experience with turntables and vinyl.I am currently looking at one in partiular turntable (Amazon.com: Audio-Technica AT-PL120 Professional Direct-Drive Turntable: Electronics), which sounds quality and seems to be popular amongst those who have reviewed it.
