Doesn't take much. You could make a filter yourself if you really wanted to.

I'll check that dictionary, but in the meantime I'm impressed - as is everyone else in the world - by your eloquence, obvious accomplishments and success, and the evidence of your blazingly high intelligence.

It's free and simple. I think so as well.

Just write lyrics without it. Could be your gimmick.

The new Alchemy synth they added to the latest iOS GarageBand is pretty versatile.

Also got Novation Launchpad app which is pretty fun.

As far as e-synths go, this is one of the best that I've ever used (totally free too)

I like using Sound Fonts and Directwave for realistic sounding instruments.

And recently I got Nexus which is ****ing awesome.

Lucem, you're right, it's silly to talk about what I would or wouldn't do IRL. Glad you brought it up. Maybe you should write an instrumental about it. I recommend a piano paired with a clarinet. With ambient sounds of you hanging from your shower curtain you ****ing failure.

So I'm fixing my Grandpa's guitar, and the pickup on it is bad. This isn't the guitar but it's the same model.

From what I can tell, it's a single coil. I want to replace the pickup without paying a hundred bucks and without replacing the tone and volume controls. Any ideas.

I think you'd have to buy an actual physical pickup. It's really difficult to install anything on those old ones. They usually don't even have a USB port.
