Audio Interfaces, Mixing? (i.e. pro tools, cubase, ect..)
I know it is a long shot, but is there any way to get my hands on a program as mentioned above for the recording and mixing of some tracks I have made, without having to shelve out copious amounts of cash?
Any suggestions? Thanks. |
...torrent?
|
Do most of them need cracks or some additional program to set-up/run the program?
|
They generally come with a key generator or already cracked, and with instructions. Keywords to look for: (Full version, cracked, Keygen included, etc..)

ProTools Micro hardware/software - gives you the industry standard software and will only cost $250.
|
There are torrents and demos of the softwares. I got a copy of logic pro from my friend who is a producer, so if you know anyone with a program that is also a good start.

If you need something free, audacity will work for recording/mixing multiple tracks.

Auacity is a useful little tool with some good algorhythms

Sony ACID Xpress is quite fully featured for a FREEBIE that doesn't require a crack or anything nasty like that.
10 tracks should be more than enough for anyone getting started - and it's an easy to use, intuitive DAW that works like a sampler - you can simply create loops and string them together, or record live stuff over loops, or any permutation. ACIDplanet.com: Free Downloads: ACID Xpress NCH software have Mixpad, which is a nice alternative, if you don't like the complex nature of ACID - and it's $60; Multitrack Music Recording Software - Free Download Audacity is cool too. |
