Hi!
I'm using the tascam US-144, it's really good with a low latency and a very low noise-level! And there are also two faders for the inputs, XLR- and Klinke input and faders for the monitoring! My tascam was also inclusive a piano-plug-in and Cubase LE 4, very useful! The price is only about 160 $! |

The Tascam US-1641 is also attractive, with a midnight blue front panel. Sometimes I fondle my audio interface and think, "Pretty, pretty." In addition, it has a functional flat shape. When I'm not using it, I put a lamp and telephone on it. Let's see other audio interfaces do that! Like Schmidti's US-144, the US-1641 also came with Cubase LE 4.

I may be able to proxy an mbox/mbox mini/whatever with my 40% digidesign discount for someone if they're (very) nice to me, not 100% sure how it works at the moment though, I'll find out.
